Every spare contact lens gives someone sight — and keeps plastic out of the ocean.

Millions of people lack access to vision care, while tons of optical supplies end up in NJ landfills. We turn local 'spare contacts' into global sight and cleaner oceans

Why we're doing this

01

1 in 11 US Adults

1 in 11 U.S. adults are in need of eye glasses and contacts and cannot afford them.

02

1 Billion Globally

1 billion people have vision impairment that is yet to be addressed.

03

Inequality

2 out of 3 people in low income countries who need eyeglasses do not have access.

04

Environmental Impact

When improperly disposed of, contact lenses break down into smaller particles, affecting soil, water systems, and aquatic ecosystems.

Help us create sight equality.

Where do I take my lenses?
We have a drop box at Millburn High School, outside the main entrance. 462 Millburn Ave, Millburn, NJ 07041.
How do we ensure distribution is fair?
We work with Bausch + Lomb, they handle distribution, we handle collection in NJ. Learn more.
How can I help even more?
We can always do with more collections, and more people leading collections, get in touch!
Why did I start this?
It seems so unfair that a large portion of the global and US population doesnt have access to clear sight when the technology has been around for over 100 years. We're here to help as much as possible.

We turn local 'spare contacts'
into global sight

Our mission is to ensure that everyone who needs to see can see. Wealth should not dicatate who can see, it is a fundamental human right.
